Fenix CL20 Camping Lantern

The Fenix CL20 has a maximum brightness of 165 lumens from the nine neutral white LEDs and two red LEDs. It is powered by either one CR123 or two AA batteries.
With a built-in hanging loop and magnet for easy attachment, the additional red light equipped CL20 is a versatile camping lantern, whether on a campsite or in a tent.
The CL20 is designed with campers in mind and can be used all-season. It can use CR123A lithium batteries which have an operating temperature down to -40 degrees.

The CL20 Camping Lantern has a beam distance of up to 10 meters, waterproof to IPX-6 and impact resistant to drops from 1.5 meters.
Operation
- Press and hold the switch for 0.8 seconds to turn the light on and off.
- Press the switch to cycle through the outputs, in order Low-Mid-High-Turbo.
- Double press the switch to activate the red light and repeat to return to white light.

Only used indoors so far, but I can see how useful this will be for camping. A very diffused light gives very good all round non-dazzling, low shadow illumination. Seems very robust too. | |
