The Fenix HP15 Ultimate Edition headlamp has a maximum brightness of 900 lumens from the Cree XM-L2 (U2) LED & is powered by 4 x AA batteries (alkaline or NiMh).
Besides an optimized size, HP15 Ultimate Edition features a dedicated switch that makes the 900 lumen burst mode directly accessible even if the light is off. The power switch activates the headlamp and cycles through the brightness levels as well as operating the SOS mode.
With six outputs including SOS, a rugged aluminum chassis and IPX-6 waterproof rating, this headlamp is a reliable tool for any adventure including mountaineering, searching and caving.
The Ultimate Edition boosts a higher output than the standard HP15 by 80% to 900 lumens in burst mode and a 178 meter beam distance.
Brightness Levels:
Burst: 900 Lumens
High: 400 Lumens - 3 hour 10 minute runtime
Mid: 150 Lumens - 10 hour runtime
Low: 50 Lumens - 40 hour runtime
Eco: 10 Lumens - 160 hour runtime
SOS: 50 Lumens
Maximum beam distance 178 meters, Waterproof to IPX-6 and resistant to impacts from 1 meter.
Operation
- Press the power button to turn the light on and hold for 0.5 seconds to turn off.
- When on, press the power button to cycle through the brightness levels, in order High-Eco-Low-Mid.
- Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate SOS mode.
- Press and hold the power button for 1.2 seconds to access Burst mode.
