The Fenix HP16R headlamp offers a maximum output of 1250 lumens from the Luminus SST40 white and Cree XP-G3 S4 neutral white LED, plus 5 lumens from the Everlight 3835 red LED. The light is powered by an included 3000mAh lithium polymer battery or it can use 4 x alkaline or NiMH AA batteries (not included).

The battery case sits at the back of the headband for even weight distribution and comfortable wear. When using the supplied li-poly battery, the HP16R is rechargeable via the USB Type-C port on the battery case which provides fast and efficient 2A charging, fully charging the cell in just 3 hours.

The head torch offers a wide range of outputs and brightness levels, including the floodlight which is fitted with a high colour-rendering Cree XP-G3 neutral white LED with a 4500K colour temperature. Additionally, the red light provides soft night vision and can be used for hunting and fishing applications.

The HP16R features a 60º tilt mechanism to direct the beam as needed. It also has a protective cover which sits over the buttons on top of the light when in it's upright position, providing a physical lockout to avoid accidental activation.

Operation

• Press and hold either of the switches (General and Functional) for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on and off
• In General mode, single click the General switch to cycle through the outputs in order Low>Med>High>Turbo of spotlight
• In Functional mode, single click the Functional switch to cycle through the outputs in order Low>Med>High>Red light>Red flash
• When off, press and hold either switch or both switches simultaneously to enter lockout mode. Press and hold both switches for 3 seconds to exit lockout mode.
