The Fenix HP35R headlamp has a maximum output of 4000 lumens from the Cree XHP70 neutral and Luminus SST20 warm LEDs. The light is powered by a 10,000mAh li-ion battery pack, made up of 2 x built-in 5000mAh 21700 cells that can be recharged by USB-C. Equipped with a 20W discharge capacity, the quick-release battery case can be removed from the light and used as a power bank to charge electronic devices, such as a phone, headphones or GPS.

The combination of LEDs provide spotlight and floodlight modes which can be used independently or together by adjusting the rotary switch. The electronic switch that sits in the centre of the rotary dial cycles through the brightness levels in each mode, allowing for quick and easy one-handed operation.

The bright output and 450 meter maximum beam distance makes the headlamp ideal for emergency use and search and rescue operations. The warm white beam allows for better beam penetration in rain, snow and fog and the battery case features a red light for signalling in an emergency.

The HP35R has a built-in intelligent sensing circuit which drops the output to low if the light is within 60mm of an illuminated object for more than 1 second, preventing the headlamp overheating or causing damage by high temperatures. When the light is moved away from the object for more than 1.2 seconds, the headlamp will return to the previously used output level.

Operation:

• Turn to rotary switch to select from Off>Spotlight>Floodlight>Spot and floodlight.
• When in the desired mode, single click switch A to select the output.
• Long press switch B to turn the red light on the battery case on and off. Single click to cycle between on and flashing.
